1 July 2023 we performed a lovely programme featuring French horn soloist Alexander Hambleton performing Haydn’s Concerto No. 1 in D, a charming work that needs to be played more. His cadenzas included the fascinating use of multiphonics on low notes! Sadly no video snippets of this nor Respighi’s Ancient Airs and Dances Suite 3…
